How do I get live mail

I downloaded
Windows Live Essentials

but can't get live mail
I type in mail on the search line and got nothing so how can I get live mail?

Did you install it after you downloaded it?
Did you configure it after you installed it?

I don't know what you mean by "search line". After downloading the installer file you must run it and click on "Choose the programs you want to install" to see the various programs that you can install. Then uncheck the programs you don't want but leave "Mail" checked.

I don't know what you mean by "search line"

I believe he's referring to the Search box in the Start menu. He isn't seeing any results because Windows Live Mail isn't installed on his PC.
