How do I get wi fi connection

I have loaded win7 ultimate onto to my asus Eee PC 1015px after fitting new hard drive. No problems withe installation. The problem I have is I cannot get a internet connection. I have a BT router which works well with my Kindle and my laptop. The asus does not find any connections.
The wifi button is on and lit up.
Is this I wonder a driver problem, if so this tablet did not come with a disc
So any help would be appreciated

Go to your machine manufacturers www and find the appropriate driver for wireless

there are four listed so you need to figure out which ones for you
ps. i would stick with one of the three WHQL ones

Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7

You should have your wireless driver in your backup so if it isnt' provided by Win7 installation media you can install it to get online, enable Automatically deliver drivers via Windows Update (Step 3) to run all rounds of Important and Optional Windows Updates, with reboots, until there are no more offered when you Check for Updates.

Plugging in by wire will increase the chance the LAN driver is in the installer to about 70% from 50%.

Other tips for getting and keeping a perfect install in the tutorial linked above. Did you delete all partitions during the booted install? If not I would do it over correctly.
