how do I install this file that has no exe in folder

Hi I download:

Driver_Win7_7006_0921

to try and sort out the sound problems I am having trying to get 5.1 surround
to work, but the folder has no .exe file to run, does anybody know how or what I am meant to do with the files inside the folder? Inside is some .DLL and .SYS files also netrtx64

any help will be great! Cheers

Hello Lee, welcome to the Seven Forums.

Open Device Manager, right click the device you want to update, choose Properties > Driver > Update Driver, choose Browse my computer for driver software. Choose the folder you downloaded and saved, Windows should now install you drivers.

I did the process as you said and it worked fine but it says windows has determined that my driver software is up to date, im not sure if it is the latest thats installed already?? I guess it is? but the one I downloaded was meant to be the latest? Is there anyway of checking or would it have installed it if it was?
