Solved how do i modify desktop background transition change time

I'm trying to change the time the transition takes to happen - i DO NOT want to make it cycle through the pictures faster, i want it to change from one to another instantly, as currently there's a fade out/in thing going on which for various reasons i want to get rid of.

Any ideas?

The only way to do that is use the Windows Classic theme, not Aero or Basic.

Isnt there something about modifying a registry or something? read it on a similar psot

Hello Mauvai, and welcome to Seven Forums.

If you checked the Turn off all unnecceassary animations box in the Ease of Access Center, or uncheck the Animate controls and elements inside windows option in the Visual Effects settings, then this will also remove the fade effect between wallpapers in the desktop slideshow.
