I recently took my pc in for repair of the raid drive. The service center used a software which allowed them to change my password, so that they could access the pc. however I believe it damaged my profile because now, I can not change the password from password and outlook no longer remembers any of my email passwords, I must reenter them all each time I run outlook. I am trying to avoid creating a new profile. Any ideas?? Thanks
I am running Windows 7 Professional 64x with a mirrored 2TB drive. Simple peer to peer workgroup

There are 2 options hopefully to fix this issue :

1: System restore.
2: Create a new user acccount.

In other words, "you cannot repair a profile".

I will try the scan option, attempted a system restore last night, and it failed. I was trying to avoid creating a new profile

pbcopter, the link you provided requires the user to create a new profile which he doesn't seem to want to do (yet). Good directions when a new profile is finally created though :D
