Hi, the default speaker that I am using is the realtek HD audio device.
There is one more Realtek Digital audio output device shown there, which is also having drivers and sound properties.
The default speaker is working fine.
But when I select the realtek digital audio aoutput device as default , the sound bar at the right shows increasing showing th\at the device is working, but i could not hear the audio thro my speakers. I have connected the pc with hdmi wire from cpu, there by knowing that both audio and video are handled by the hdmi wire which is giving video and audio through it and it rought through the analog speakers.
But, why i could not route thro the audio the realtek digital output.
the Jack information of both the connections are enclosed here.
I know, that nvidia handles my hdmi experience with the tv and it is not working iwht realtek audio.
there is some confusion,
would experts share the sollution

I'm no expert but digital audio means that the device doesn't use analog connectors.

From Wikipedia-

These are the types of connectors you would use-

Digital audio interfaces and interconnects:

ADAT interface (DB25)
AES/EBU interface, normally with XLR connector
S/PDIF, either over electrical coaxial cable (with RCA jacks) or optical fiber (TOSLINK).

Sorry I haven't responded but as a result of an ice storm two months ago which did some damage to my house, I need to finish drawings for the contractor who is going to restore everything. That is going to take a few days.

All I can say right now is s/pdif seems the way to go. You might have to do some research to nail down the configuration.

Maybe someone else will jump in here.
