I recently bought a new graphics card, the 960 STRIX, but I noticed I wasn't getting the performance I should. A quick test showed that the reason why was my okay-tier processor, the Intel i5-3470. However, the reason it was throttling so badly was because all the work was all on one of my four cores.
I had maybe 20%-30% on cores 0, 1, and 3, but core 2 had 98%-100% while playing Far Cry 3 at max.
I was wondering if it was possible to split the load up between all 4 of the cores and maybe play my games at a solid 60FPS.
Thanks!
