how do i stop wireless from disconnecting?

I have a belkin f5d8236-4 n router my wireless disconnects while on my laptop watching videos or just browsing online my laptop its a lenovo v570 but my wired connection doesn't disconnect my internet provider said it could be the wireless card or interference my signal bar is 5 is there a way to fix this?

Any wifi.... drivers would be available at the Computer manufactures website under Help-support driver updates.

router has already been reset multiple times. i bought the laptop last year i went to lenovo driver page to update but the wireless driver says released date 2011 is it fine to still use those?

I use my iphone to connect to internet no problem with it on there

It may be the "Power Saving" feature kicking in on the laptop (especially if you are on battery and not connected to a power source).

Its not running on battery its plugged in on the adapter

This happens to my laptop too. I think that you should just log off and log back on or restart the computer. (Restarting works better) I have been doing that since August and I'm yet to find a solution.

Thanks my internet was upgraded from 50/5 to 105/10 when i'm connected wireless and wired i only get my old speeds 50/5 on wireless its 20-40 down 7-9 up on wired its 40-50 7-10 up but when i bypass my router i get 80-90 down 9-10 up how do i get my router to receive my new speeds?

How do you currently check your speed? You should try a website like Speedtest.net by Ookla - The Global Broadband Speed Test and do you still have connection issues?

The disconnection seems to might have been fixed my computers ip was entered wrong belkin gave me the wrong one yes i always use speedtest
