Solved How do I take a screen shot/capture

I tried taking a screen shot by using the Print Screen Button on my keyboard but does not do it. On my other laptop which has Vista, it was easy but on this laptop, Win 7, I can't. I do have the snipping tool but I want to do it the other way. When I was able to do it, it would open up as a new image in my Paint Shop Pro. Any help appreciated. My laptop is a Toshiba

On a laptop, you may need to also press the Fn + PrintScreen keys as well. The two tutorials below can help show you more on how to take a screenshot using either one.

Thanks. I know the snipping tool well but I looked at the tut and to do it the other way, I have to hit Fn+PrtScn or Alt+Fn+PrtScn keys. So, now I know. It was so much easier simply hitting the print screen key and that was on my other laptop as I said, not desktop. Thanks again.
