How do i use "Shadow Defender" with windows 7?

hi guys,

I've been looking into a security solution for our family pc/media center to protect it from malware and other viruses or damage.

From research, I have found many to say that Shadow Defender is highly recommended.

Since my pc, which has win7 ultimate, already has 1tb of bluray/hd movies, I want to try to keep them if possible.

Now how would you recommend i go about setting up Shadow Defender for the first time? Can I protect the stuff i already have on my pc?
