I never have understood why someone will answer a question that's already been answered.

There is both cross posting (valid excuse) and then there is a complete and utter disregard for whatever has been posted previously.

For the former, in some instances (shorter time frames) there is a high chance that they were spending that time looking for the answer and have posted their findings completely unaware that the post has been answered in the interim.

But it's when several hours between posts have occurred that you know it's the latter.

Both happen frequently - but only the former and innocent scenario is tolerable.

As for the latter, there are several members who make quite a habit out of needlessly repeating what has already been answered

I have just confirmed with Cassie that it was indeed a case of cross-posting; she simply left the window open too long and forgot to refresh the thread before posting. Since her account was banned, she couldn't come back to explain... I hope you are willing to restore her account, but either way I apologize for the misunderstanding.
