I dont know if should help you in this issue, as it is windows 7 forums ;) Do you have the Xp disk ? Then boot from it, you will be able to install xp. During installation, format the partition where windows 7 was, and it would be deleted.

But pal , is it really necessary ? Can you please tell me how long you using 7? Is it really bad, or you are facing problems with it? Let us know what is your problem, we will try to solve it our best.

By the way, you have two alternative options to use xp and 7 side by side, virtualisation and dual booting. You may choose any of those. For virtualisation, you wil have all necessary information here : Virtualization - Windows 7 Forums ; and fo rdual booting , go here : Installation & Setup - Windows 7 Forums .

Finally , hope you will be with 7 :D

Before you go any further, you have to find ALL XP drivers for your system. You probably already got stuck on the missing HDD driver. Once you have all the drivers, you have to slipstream them on your XP disk.
But as Arc said - is that really necessary. XP is XPired and Windows7 is so much superior that you may end up making a mistake.
At the least take an image of your Windows7 so that you can always go back. Here is how.
It is not guaranteed that you will succeed installing XP if you have a recent PC (because of lack of drivers), but in the trial process you may mess up your current Windows7.

I hope you have the motherboard driver cd. Then you may go for it.

But the wifi problem may be due to network driver or the service providers fault. in 7 may not be liable for it .

Have a second thought , pal :)

I will advise you finally that if you are determined to get xp back , make it sure that you have the graphics driver, sound driver and network driver compatible to XP and matches your mother board. Otherwise you would be in problem with xp.

Yes, boot from the XP CD - dont run it from Win7.

It may need SATA drivers added if it won't see HD after being booted. If it will, then format the HD first before install using XP CD.

As to your Belkin wireless incompatibility issue, did you check Optional Windows Updates to see if there is Win7 a driver provided, or on Belkin website?

Try Vista driver if there are no Win7 drivers. Then try installing Vista driver in Vista compatiblity mode by rightclicking driver's .exe file, selecting Properties and Compatibility tab.

I told it to him at the very first reply

hi ..
just do the same thing when you install 7.
put your xp CD to CDROM, in your BIOS, set your booting preference to CDROM, and finally reboot your computer.
it will autoload your xp and press a key to install it.

hope it help.

Not like that. First go to your bios, set cd/dvd drive as first boot drive there. Then put your xp cd in the dvd drive. Now restart your computer. When it will say "press any button to boot from cd", press any keyboard button, and you will be in xp installation. Now, before installation, format tha drive where windows 7 is installed, and then install xp in that very drive (hope it is a primary one).

If there is any farther problem, let us know.

yup, it should be the sata driver problem.

anyway, you can get the driver for your belkin wireless adapter.
You just download it from belkin website.

The connection, signal strenght and data transmission speed have nothing to do with Windows 7.
The slow wifi connection issue should be other problem.

The problems might be:
The distance between your PC and wireless router is too far.
The internet service is down.
There is problem within the wireless router.
