I used the awsomw tutorial on hosting a website in win7 IIS. Honestly it took me about 30 try's to do it, I am learning web page hosting from the ground up. But, never the less, I did mnage to host a Template I dnld'd. Question is, I bought 3 domains over the last year, and would like to host all 3 sites from the same PC. The tutorial showed me how to host 1 site, as far as I know, the inetpub\wwwroot folder is the "database"? So, I forwarded all 3 sites to the Static IP I have for this machine, and I have all 3 site working, as for they display the same web page template I have for my site I did following along with the tutorial.
I had some very bad luck installing IIS right for some reason, following the tutorial along side by side, doing the steps in order. I have 2 machines and 2 monitors sitting on each side of me, so it was rather easy to do so. Except, like I said, it took a few trys. I did, however get it right!(TG). But I am not going to change anything else untill I know for sure what I'm doing. Hosting 1 site was easy. What else do I need to do to host multiple site? What do I change to make them have diff storage area ? Thanks in advance for any help/advise.

PS: Alll 3 sites are now forwarded, and display the same web page Template I put in the inetpub\wwwroot folder.

Using the same IP Address and Port you can have multiple web sites running in IIS.

When you create a new website, you have to specify the Host header in the settings
install_iis7_13.png

Just specify the domain name in the Host Name field for the three websites and it should work.
