How do you set Chrome's homepage with a script?

Hello all,

Platform Windows 7 Professional x64

My boss wants me to make our company website the homepage in chrome via a script... I have searched but not found anything reliable.

also I need to set the favorites bar to always show via script. so that when our employees open chrome it opens to www.google.com and has the favorites bar showing with our company website as a bookmark.

I have done this with IE by exporting the registry settings and importing them via a batch script. but I don't know if this can be done with chrome and if it could I don't know where chromes settings are stored...

if you have a script please post it....
