How does Media Center work in Win7HP

I download a lot of videos and would love to be able to play them on my regular TV. Would the built in Media Center in Win 7 Home Premium allow me to do that? If so, how would it work? Thanks.

Windows Media Center plays a good amount of formats from the get-go. All you would need to do is make sure the videos are in your Videos folder. I'm assuming by your question you're hooking up your PC to your TV?

Provide more information about your computer and your tv. We need to know the make and model of the tv and also what components you have in your pc ie graphics card, cpu etc.
