how does windows 7 connect to shared XP printer?

okay so i have 2 laptops and an XP machina on m desk wich is connected to a printer, I created a homegroup for for the 2 windows 7 laptops but windows XP couldn't join so I left the homegroup account and am now trying to conect to the shared printer of XP, any help on how to do this would be great :)
