I have a laptop with a Core i7 720QM, a quad core, and it idles at around 60C. Is that normal? Under the most ideal conditions I could create, I got the idle temp down to 48C.
Also, while playing many games, CoreTemp has to put my computer to sleep to keep my computer from overheating. Before using CoreTemp, my computer would have to shut down at 100C.
Is this normal?
