How long will Windows 7 still be available to buy?

So you can no longer buy pre-built systems with Windows 7.

But how long will you still be able to buy W7 for, for installation on self-built PCs?

It has support until 2020.

Is W7 still a viable OS choice for new builds in 2017??

I have tried 10 and whilst it is ok on my occasional use laptop, I would still prefer 7 on my next daily driver.

What do you think?

I still have one 7 pro oem/ system builder unused it is viable for as long as I believe it to be forget the date in which I decide to install it :)

My beliefs are that if you find a proper seller that has Windows 7 with the proper matching COA key you can still buy Windows 7. I have a computer shop in town that searches many warehouses to find Windows 7. Microsoft no longer sells Windows 7.
I also have a unopened Windows 7/64 Pro tucked away for a future build.
The last time I checked, the warehouses only had Windows 7 Pro.

Now if one wants a corrupt, illegal bad copy of Windows 7, they are all over the internet.
So buyer beware.
