I have a toshiba sat l505 with Win7 64 on a recovery partition which comes with much stuff. Im wondering if uninstalling a lot of this stuff will end up creating registry issues or would it help with the performance enough to make a difference? Also will the in house uninstaller be good enough or will a 3rd party app be needed?
Yeah New Toshiba notebooks are full of bloat-programs.
I think uninstaling a program does not make registry issuse, also shuting down toshiba services like TEMPRO and similar things is enough, also unchecking them in msconfig>startup is a big deal

Uninstalling factory bloat ware is a good idea and will not effect your registry. Using a program like PC Decrapifier will identify software it tags as bloat, you will have the choice to uninstall it. It works better than the supplied uninstaller since it will clean the registry of it related items too. CCleaner can be put to use here as well to clean the registry after the uninstalls.
