how much do you pay for your monthly internet plan

My country, rated by some random site, says that it's third place on fastest internet in the world. I pay 10 dollars monthly for 45Mbps upload and 45Mbps download speed. 20$ for 100+


How is that?

My current internet costs $138/month for 4Mbps up/down. I work from home and I'm fortunate that my employer pays that. I live in a rural area with few choices as to where I can get internet. I can't get either cable or DSL where I live, pretty much the only choices are dialup, satellite or what I have which is long-range wifi.

Bloody disgrace.

Mine is about $3 per month. Unlimited bandwidth. Allegedly "up to" 16mb It comes down copper telephone cable, so not quick.

Almost none of that in the UK nowadays. That is why we are a terrible state, and it is getting worse.

As I explained, I live in a rural area where the homes are spread out. No company will lay a cable to my neighborhood/house because there are too few possible subscriber's for them to recoup their cost. My current ISP is supposedly working with the government to bring cable in but for at least the past 2 years, every time I ask them when the cable will be put in, they tell me that it won't happen for at least 18 months!

I prefer wired because of the reliability
wireless is just too freaking expensive/ throttled....

Never goes up or down in price. I figured the price would never go down anyway.
I signed up.
