What data is needed to get the correct driver ?

which can be can be found in msinfo32>components>problem devices.

or you could try serching by model name.

Printer of that age might have drivers in the vista filerepository. Vista drivers work on win7.

win7 buit in drivers supposedly provide basic functionality
Install the Windows 7 built-in drivers from the Windows Update provided by Microsoft(R).
