How can I add the 'Print' command to a right-click context menu for Word and Excel files (.doc and .xls)? It's missing for both. Thanks so much.

The answer's probably here already, but I didn't find it. Sorry.

Not clear on your problem because your subject heading refers to Windows Explorer, not Word --- but your question seems to appy to Word and Excel. So, are you trying to add a command to your Windows Explorer context menu when you right-click on Word/Excel files?????

You might take a look at these 3rd party apps -
Right Click Enhancer: applies specifically to Windows Explorer - Right Click Enhancer - Free software downloads and software reviews - CNET Downloads

These can be more generally applied:

Dear Imperfect1,

Print command for contextual menus of Word and Excel files comes with default Office installation.
Frapper does not need to add anything, but just to repair existing Office installation.

Control Panel - Programs and Features - Highlight Microsoft Office 2010 or whatever Office edition is there and click CHANGE button.
When new window will should up - select REPAIR option.

Yes. Somehow the post ended up in the "MS Office" forum, rather than "Win7 Help & Support". I'll try the utilities you suggested, as well as the repair Neutron16 suggested. It's a new install of MS Office 2003. Thanks guys.

Old Thread - Repair option also applies to Office 365 install

Yes... I know it's an old thread but for some of us hanging onto W7 64 until the last day possible it's a problem.

It seems that Office 365 sometimes disables several key features (inherited from earlier versions of Office) for whatever reason - doesn't happen for everyone but for too many it does.

For those forced into using Office 365 who have lost their right-click to print option the Control Panel - Programs - Repair option did the trick for me and restored my missing Print option.

So many complicated & convoluted responses on the net... SevenForums once more saves the day.
