I've had an admittedly weird obsession with custom folder icons since XP.
When I switched from XP to 7, I had to go through the process of customizing each folder AGAIN even though I put the icons in the same folder "C:\Windows\System32\Icons"
In retrospect, I should have put the icon in the folder it was intended to customize but its too late to fix it.
Now I'd like reinstall Windows because I've screwed up my system font size (its tiny) by trying to replace Segoe with Verdana (without success) but the thought of having to customize all the folders again makes me nauseous
If all you need to do is change font size the try "A+ System Font Size Changer" or "Advanced System Font Changer".
They're free to use. WinTools.Info - Download Center
Wow this looks exactly like what I need! Thank you so much for the suggestion!! It says to do a full system backup before running it so I'm doing that now before I run it.
I noticed another software called addLEDs on the same website and it shows this screenshot. Do you know what the "icon profile" does?
