How to automate changing display zoom from 125% to 100%

Problem:
I am trying to find a way to change the zoom level in Windows Display properties (where you can make your text larger) from 125% to 100% by way of batch file or some other easy solution.

Background:
My CEO has a dual monitors when her laptop is docked. I have her Display increased to 125% which allows her to easily read her e-mails, word docs, etc...
When she goes into a meetng with her laptop, everything remains at 125% on the small monitor and she is having a hard time navigating around.

I have been racking my brain on a way she could double click a batch file that would reset her settings when she is not docked, and then another file to increase everything back to 125% when she is.

Any Ideas?

Why not just click "change zoom level" drop down menu in the notification area? Unless it's not enabled then enable it - enable status bar.

She could change to 100% with Bassfisher's idea before going to the meeting? Sounds simple, but...
does the laptop have a scroll wheel? If so holding CTRL and using it will change the magnification for everything.

We have some developers here so maybe one of them can write a bat file for you.

You can leave the Display set to 100% and increase things inside certain windows (as others have noted) but this is not nearly the same user experience as changing the Display (DPI) setting - since that setting changes much more than text zoom will.






The laptop should handle changing the DPI settings via hardware profiles when it is undocked. You might have to manually create the hardware profiles.

It will not be automated, but you can create a shortcut to change the DPI

Thanks, the nice thing I like about this method is that it will change sizes of icons or browser content, not the DPI and resolution.
Try it on the Desktop.
