How do you configure folder exclusions from real-time scanning in Avast 5?

Open Avast, click Real Time shields>File System Shields>Expert Settings.



Now click Exclusions>Add>Browse. Then add the folder you want.

Hi SIW, for you, click on the Settings tab at the top right corner.

Now click Exclusions from the left side. Then click Add>Browse>Select the File>OK.

I did that already.

Avast still grabs it and sticks it in the Chest.

I managed to get it out of the chest ,. but now it isn't working properly.

Will get another copy and try again later.
