I need to run sfc scannow but I'm afraid it will change my 800+ custom folder icons back to default. :shock:
Is there a way to backup all the desktop.ini files or some other way to do it? I looked into making a theme but themes won't save folder icons. Any ideas would be really appreciated.
SUGGESTION: You could create a system image. This way, if things go wrong, you will be able to restore your OS back to the exact same state that it is now in a very short time. There are two imaging programs which are very popular among members here, the first is AOMEI Backupper Standard [FREE], and the second is Macrium Reflect [FREE].
