How to backup files and delete old windows

Hi, i want to to re install windows 7 but i only have one drive to backup my files, the files are over 90gb.

So when i install windows 7, it will format my drive and remove and install new windows 7, so does that mean the 90gb of my files will also be removed when it formats?

They will be hard to recover if you format the drive.

Any reason why you don't partition your drive?

Before we make any specific recommendations about you partitioning the Hard Disk Drive, will you please post a snip/screen-shot of the entire disk management drive map with a full description as to which drive/partition is which, so we can see what you have going on as there may be a fairly simple way to resolve the situation.

In the Windows start menu right click computer and click manage, in the left pane of the "Computer Management" window that opens click disk management and post a snip of that.
