How to bulk-move all folder contents of multiple folders up 1 level?

I hope I can explain this clearly...

I want to move all folders of a specific level, along with their contents, one level up, (and can later remove the folder that they had been contained in)?

Example:
Root/Subfolder1/junkfolder1/Year/File.jpg
Root/Subfolder2/junkfolder2/Year/File.jpg

result:
Root/Subfolder1/Year/File.jpg
Root/Subfolder2/Year/File.jpg

I want to just move the contents of the junkfolder's up one level into their respective Subfolders, leaving the rest of each file/folder's directory otherwise the same.

I don't mind if the method were slower than tolerable to others (if it works, it works).
But I'm also not experienced with anything Command-style, or whatever, so if that's the only solution, a clear explanation would be wonderful, if you would please do so...

side request: I'm looking on other sites as well for a way to do this, so please don't just put some suggestion of "you could try this" or "Google that"... please?

Do it from Windows Explorer.

In each Case, right click on the Year folder and drag to Subfoldern then release the mouse button.
Select Move.
Once it completes, delete junkfoldern.

For over 1,000 target folders' contents of 5+ subfolders each? If I was wanting to go manual on thousands of files/folders, I'd have started long ago... and still be going.

I'm looking for a bulk method for a reason.

I suspect you'll need a batch file (or script) to do that.

... I seem to get the same useless suggestion everywhere. Yes, I get the idea that may be the answer.
That's WHY I'm asking for help: I HAVE NO CLUE HOW TO DO THAT.

I'd heard this site has some helpful tech guys... How can I attract the attention of one of them who would know how to do something like this?
I hope I don't sound rude, I'm just tired of having no clue how to do this and being given the same non-helpful suggestions... (Not just on this site, really)

Perhaps if you asked you question clearly, stating that you wanted an automated way to do this in bulk, you would get applicable advice. Instead you asked an incomplete, not fully defined question and got reasonable responses.

Then you complain the responses are useless. Not going to get help that way.
