I was trying to find a program to burn data to DVD-R. I saw some senior guy answering some other's question saying it depends on the type of files you burn. So I wish to burn .jpg, .gif, .3gp, .flv, .mp4, .htm. Which program does the best as per your view. You may haven't burnt all those file types but share some experience on best tools to do. If those .flv screen recordings are the culprits for disk failure everytime, I'm gonna convert them into .3gp or .mp4. But I'm unable to find out the real cause for data corruption everytime I used Imgburn and Nero.

in my experience always burn dvd at a speed lower than their max burn speed.e.g.if in burning software write speed(usually fastest speed by default) is shown as 12x then select the next lower speed in drop-down speed menu.i.e.8x & so on.also always tick the verify burn/similar option.imgburn is good(latest version comes with adware so download an older clean version from Download ImgBurn 2.5.7.0 - FileHippo.com ) but may took some time to figure out these options(nothing too complicated though).you can also try ashampoo burning studio 2014 which has a nice gui(just use a disposable email id to register to get free serial).

Thanks for suggestion. I'll look into Ashampoo Burning Studio. I burnt the DVD at 4x speed as I remember.
