How to burn ISO file to USB stick?

I downloaded a linux distribution in iso format. I know you can burn these to DVD, but is there a way through Windows 7 to burn in to a USB stick? I've done something similar in the past, but I was burning to USB from a Linux OS, not Windows.

Use Linux Mint 16 (Cinnamon) it works perfectly off a flash drive. No network drivers need to be installed at all.

I've used several different programs and have settled on Win32DiskManager.

It's fast and it burns or creates image files.

Thanks everyone for your feedback. I know there are a number of third party options to burn an ISO to a USB stick and I've also done it through Linux distributions as well.

I guess there is no way to do this task through Windows 7 without having to install third party software? I've kept my Windows 7 install ultra-clean for a couple of years now with only Outlook and Office as additional installs. Would like to try and stay away from having to install anything else...if possible. If there isn't anything, that's ok

I use YUMI, it's a stand-alone program, I don't know about RUFUS.
