Solved How to cancel Windows Backup during chkdsk

So my external HDD has a CRC issue and I'm doing a chkdsk via cmd with the parameters /f and /r. The issue is that I forgot to disable the schedule of my Windows Backup and it is about to happen in a couple of hours how would I disable this?

Hello dfg,

If the backup schedule is unable to run, it would just wait until next time to create a backup.

The tutorial below can show you how to quickly turn on and off the backup schedule though.
