hello

i have a problem with my "aero peek show desktop" at the right side of the task bar. it is double size, i read in a few forums about this case with installing tablets. i installed my wacom tablet a few days ago,
so i suppose its because of this.

i really want to solve this so anybody who knows how to, please help

thanks

It is extra large on tablets to make it possible to use it with touch screens. Too small otherwise.

What is your goal?

HI

my goal is to make it small as it use to be before i install the WACOM.
i dont need the double size because i use a pen tablet for drawing and not to for managing the OS for that i use my nouse.

is there any registry tweak that control the size of it?

I have been doing research and have came up with nothing...

Does anyone else know if it is possible? Is Aero Peek the only thing that WACOM increased the size of?

Could you post a screenshot?

There is a thread here where this question was answered. I have searched and cannot find it. But, I know it is here, Z.

Check out your pen and tablet settings under control panel...see if there are options relating to Aero Peek

Bump!
Anyone figured out?
I know what thread you ment, i also read it but couldnt understand it's solution maybe one of you will be able to explain it to me
here it is

There was no solution reached there, OP has only understood what was going on, not solved it. The one solution posted there isn't for this, I think the poster mis-understood the question as "how to resize the taskbar". Here's the problem if anyone wanna help out...

The small "Aero peek" bar at the bottom-right of the taskbar/superbar is wider in width on touchscreens/tablets/laptops with touch input/etc. It can be reduced back once you uninstall touch-drivers but is there a way to do it without removing them?

Did you notice any lost functionality after you uninstalled Tablet PC component? Most vendors provide their own drivers (i.e. Wacom).

In my case there are no side effects. Probably the visual feedback will disapper, but I've disabled it anyway, so I'm fine with this.

I haven't uninstalled it because I think you might lose Ink features and Touch pointer (semi-transparent mouse) as well but I'm not sure.
This does funny things if your taskbar/superbar is on the left side instead of the default bottom. It works only when your taskbar is on the default bottom but still it's a temporary hack sort of thing - you have to do it everytime you login (even from the lock screen) and whenever something causes explorer to refresh.

But I guess that's pretty much it that can be done at this point.
