How to check for RAM Speeds

Hi,
I wanted to know what those numbers mean in CPU-z
I don't really know what SPD and JEDEC is.

To oversimplify - the manner in which your RAM complies with a "universal standard" allowing parts made by Company X to work with parts made by Company Y and Company Z.

Your computer can look at the info in the SPD and know how to find it's way around the neighborhood.
