How to close programs like google talk?

This might sound silly, but how do I sign out of google talk? If i right click on it, it doesn't give me the option to sign out like i could in Vista

Hi! Welcome to SevenForums! Now, I don't use Google Talk, but looking at the screenshot you've supplied you've right-clicked on the icon for Google Talk. That will only show you the "Recently Viewed Pages/Files" Jumplists, which I don't think Google Talk supports anyway! So you will have to sign out from the main window.

Aaah, you are correct. That's unfortunate. It's actually an extra step from Vista Oh well. It's the same for tweetdeck.
