I would like to be able to autofill a box asking for my password or email by first left clicking to highlight the box and then clicking a combination of keys. Can this be done?

Thanks,
jbt

sounds like your better of taking off admin and going with a no password start up lol

on the other hand takes like 3 seconds to fill a password not to sound dik-ish but loading time is no faster with a preset password as to typing it in immediatly from boot

but like i said earlier just take the admin password and just let it boot with out the password be the same thing if you think about it

Gee, thanks for the reply lol

I already have a no password startup.

52 years ago I could very accurately type 40+ words per minute in a 10 min typing test and 110 wpm in the 1 min test. Today because of medications for a chronic illness have to 1 finger type at times because my hands shake so much. Some of the websites I frequent (like my bank for example) will not allow Explorer to save passwords or email logins.

I honestly did not know it would be this difficult to program a hot key. I remember doing it with Windows 98.

Just get a password manager and form filler like Roboform. It automatically fills password boxes for you, or if you like, you can right click and select the passcard. Its completely secure since all passwords are stored on your hdd in AES encrypted form.

The free version allows 10 passwords and 2 identities. You can buy the pro version if you like it, its not very expensive. I use it myself, it really makes life easier.

Thanks to both of you for the replies. :)

Roboform looks simple enough even for me. I'm still trying to figure out how to open all my old Windows Mail and Outlook Ex mail folders, but that will be a question for another forum.

I just found the rep button!

I'm pretty sure this would store you're password on you're machine. Which could be unsafe due to hackers.

I'm pretty sure this would store you're password on you're machine. Which could be unsafe due to hackers.

RoboForm password files are encrypted using AES 256-bit encryption with the user's master Password being the encryption key. Nobody can extract data from this file without knowing the Master Password.

AES is an encryption standard adopted by the U.S. government. The standard comprises three block ciphers, AES-128, AES-192 and AES-256. Each AES cipher has a 128-bit block size, with key sizes of 128, 192 and 256 bits, respectively. The AES ciphers have been analyzed extensively and are now used worldwide.

If one could build such a powerful machine, it would take that machine approximately 149 thousand-billion (149 trillion) years to crack a 128-bit AES key (while Roboform uses even stronger 256 bit key). For comparitive purposes, the universe is less than 20 billion years old.
