how to decrease copying speed of any data in windows 7

Hello, everyone

I am running a cyber cafe/Internet Cafe.I have 10 client computers and one server. I have total 6TB Hard disk in my Server Computer.I share data on LAN. (Workgroup. Not Domain).Each client computer has 2 GB Ram with windows 7 ultimate.The most of customer come here for copying data from my server.

I just want to decrease copying speed of any data in client computer.
is there anyway? any trick? i don't want to increase copying speed of data.

any trick ? Registry ? tweak etc

Are all the links in the chain gigabit - router, switches, pc LAN sockets etc? If any part is using the older 100mbps standard, speeds will be a lot slower.

I am using TPLINK switch for all client computers. what do you mean by older 100mbps standard?

is it a old switch or router?

Set the computers' NIC to run in 10mb/s mode. This will reduce their speed on the network greatly. Might be a few other ways...but I'm not currently aware of them,as most try to increase speed not decrease it.

Having read the original post - might I suggest that an "Internet Cafe" would be a business. It is in the OP's interest to offer the highest available speed for a reasonable price/hour and/or amount of data transferred. If the "Server" is being used like a Cloud then you have the right to charge a fee for storage. If you have legally sharable files that people want to look at (newspaper articles for instance) then the hourly rate/data used formula would be something to work with.
Slowing a network down is not the best answer these days. Most people will pay for fast connections either on a LAN or to the Internet itself. If your switch/router is really old then you may be at its limit anyway. Unles sthe desktop machines have Gigabit LAN cards then the max would likely be 100.

Sorry - I think I misread the original post. I was interpreting decrease copying speed as decrease copy time ie speed up the network.
