Solved How to delete an old email address from autofill in Yahoo mail

Using Firefox as a browser.
For example, one of my contacts has a new email address. I deleted the old one from my contacts list, but when I start to enter the name, the old address shows as well as the new one.

Hover over the far right of the one you want to delete and click the X that appears.

I don't see any X like you mentioned. This is what I see:

I once deleted my local ISP-mediated Thunderbird account with OTT Mail , and it was ridiculously difficult. I was redirected to several different people, until I got some guy who was probably playing a video game, and resented having to interrupt it by having to do actual work. But I hung in there, and got it deleted. now I have Proton Mail, super secure and a pleasure to use.

I don't see any X like you mentioned. This is what I see:

Yor screenshot is the basic version of Yahoo Mail, mine is the standard version. If you switch to the standard version of Yahoo Mail you will then be able to see the X and be able to click on it.



You can switch back to Basic mail when you are done, if you like. It's in Settings.
