google history sucks

Click on the Search dropdown arrow > Manage > Toolbar Options > General and uncheck Store search history on my computer.

Usually with chrome you would delete on exit,
But first use Delete browser history and choose delete from the beginning of time
I didn't like the limitation with what a user can delete/ I like to keep cookies for login/ home page...but the limitations are if you want to delete browser history on exit the settings are where you delete everything or nothing.
Google likes it that way/ besides there is no real way google is going to delete info. on their servers which they what to sell.
Not sure if Ctrl+Shift+Delete does in chrome but is the fastest way to access the delete browser history dialog.

Hi there ..... I would have thought the solutions you have been given .... Would have solved your problem ... I dont use Gmail ...... But lest see if this makes any difference
