How to display Windows long date format CORRECTLY ?

There seems to be a bug in Windows 7 (as well as 8, from what I'm told) which causes the long date to be displayed with the day of the week all in lower case, such as "monday". I don't know what a "monday" is, the word does not exist either in my English dictionary or in my annotations of the grammar lessons I took back in primary school, as a child.

How can I fix this bug so that days of the week are displayed in their grammatically correct and proper form, such as "Monday" (the first letter being capitalized) ?

What date and location of date are you referring to?

Mine displays correctly (the tooltip is correct too).

Not sure what you mean either. It displays just fine for me in Windows 7 and Windows 8.

Have you ever run system file checker on your pc ?

In Elevated Command Prompt run sfc /scannow
