Solved How to eliminate a Window 7 boot option

I recently re installed Win 7 to clear out all the issues being created by my sons use. Somehow I missed the fact that the system dual boots. Both say Windows 7 but only one works. How do I eliminate the second Window 7 choice, so the computer boots directly to Windows?

If you'll post back a screenshot of your full Disk Management drive map with listings, we can see if you have two installed OS's and advise you how to remove the extra one.

Type Disk Management in start search box, maximize the window, open Snipping Tool from Start Menu, draw a rectangular box around the HD map and listings, then attach file using paper clip in Reply Box.

Thanks Shawn, after leaving my post I tinkered w/ the system and used this method. I did not do step 5 but it did work. Is step 5 necessary?

That's great news Tom.

Yeah, step 5 was needed to help make sure that you still have "Normal startup" selected in the "General" tab in msconfig afterwards. You might double check to make sure that you still do. If not, you can just select it and click OK.
