how to evaluate laptop's sound cabability

i notice that for toshiba laptops , the sound is weaker than dell
anyways , how to evaluate or measure the ability of producing sound ?
from control panel , device manager or where ?

I think that has more to do with the actual speakers themselves than any software. If crappy speakers you get crappy sound. Only in high-end laptops have good quality speakers which produces the rich quality sound that one desires.

As for software measuring or evaluating the sound quality I'm not sure of. As far as I'm aware of there is nothing built in with windows to do this.

Yeah hp has actually been putting decent speakers in their laptops for awhile now. Most people don't really realize it because you only get so much sound out of a speaker that size even if it is top of the line.
The really good ones have bass cavities in them for better sound now.

thank you , but as a characteristic when buying a laptop ,, you know that we can measure speed by RAM's capacity and various other things like processor's power and CASHE's size .... etc

there is no way to know other than asking the seller ?

Well in the specification sheets, they will sometimes list the audio range for the speakers.
A larger range will often mean better speakers, but not always.

thats funny my wife has an HP laptop from 2006 and it sounds better than my new asus thats 1 month old
