How to fill sevenforums form

Hi,

I just registered on sevenforums, and after it accepted my registration it showed me a form to fill asking like, whats your graphic card, cpu, sound card etc. I dont know any of them, so how can i find out using the computer itself?

I want to complete the form so full answers please.

One place where you can get some infor mation is to type dxdiax in the search bar. For more information you should download an application like everest.

For the most part, you should know the basics already, either from building or buying the computer. However, you can also run some software, such as Speccy to give you this info, or go through Device Manager to find out most of it.

I would second what Jonathan suggests. The easiest for a basic user, would be speccy as it's very simple. SIW is a bit more advanced, but does also provide a bit more info than speccy, and is normally used by more advanced users ;)

If you don't want to download anything and install, while I too recommend Speccy, you can goto System Information on your computer.

Start/Programs/Accessories/System Tools/System Information.

Everything broken down by category. Just another alternative.
