in my previous post i have been recommended to use Best Free Windows 10/8/7/Vista/XP Backup Software 2018 | AOMEI Backupper Standard
to make a image of my drive and create a bootable media if my windows wouldnt boot after having a problem with the upgrade
now the question is some people have had problems with their drivers because windows pe normally doesn't run the drivers for usb 3.0 until start up to fix this while using aomei you could add the drivers that you will need .inf files but i haven't been able to locate my hdd drivers
using the devices tab on control panel and through the properties of my external hdd i have found

turns out there is other drivers and one is for the hdd abover (i think) and on for the usb cord connecting the hdd (below)

am a bit confused which one would i not have while in windows pe?

these files dont work with aomei as it needs .inf files
how do i get the .inf files of my hdd so i could upload them with the bootable media?

either:

1. You have installed usb3 drivers in your current operating system

OR

2. You have not installed usb3 drivers and win7 is treating the usb3 port ( if there is one) as if it were usb2.

Your second photo shows win7 standard usb2 driver.

What make and model is your laptop

- or if you have a pc

what make and model is the motherboard?

It would help if you fill out your system specs

That is not much use. there are many "hp pavilion slimlines" 3507, 5704 and many many more. They are not the same machines.

The words stone, blood and getting spring to mind.

It is a socket 775 machine so probably does not have usb 3 support on the mobo. Though there could be a usb3 add on card in it.

Just assume you don't have usb3 on that machine. If you had added a pcie to usb3 card, you would know.

Shouldn't need to add any drivers to boot media for usb2
