How to fix a send issue WITHOUT screwing up my sync to icloud

I am running outlook 7 windows 7.

In the past, the problem was that the send date above emails in the to send folder said "none" and the email topic was bold faced, and not regular in italics. It will not send.

I resolved this [and SHOULD HAVE WRITTEN IT DOWN] by going to the trust center and I believe disabling the icloud item.

HOWEVER: subsequent to all this, I finally figured out how to sync my outlook calender [not outlook contacts, cloud contacts and iphone5 phone contacts are synced.

HOWEVER, the original problem is back, and windows shows that only calendar in icloud is synced, not "calendar" and not whatever "calendar from icloud in icloud" [just uncheck both and I eliminate dupes]

IF i start screwing around in the trust center and disabling the "icloud outlook ad-in", which I know played a role in getting the send to work, will I eliminate that "calendar in icloud" that continues to works so well? And if so, how do I get it back to sync with iphone 5?

Sam problems, and no answers

Like you I am running Outlook 7 under Windows 7, 64 bit, and have version 3, the latest, for the iCloud control panel. And, like you, I have long ceased to attempt any kind of sync for anything other than the calender. If you go into the trust center and disable the icloud add in outlook will cease to sync with icloud. Indeed, only yesterday I ran a test: I added an appointment to my iphone and it did not appear on my outlook calendar. I had disabled the icloud add in before it was the only way to get anything to send from the outbox. As soon as I re enabled it the appointment appeared, only now I had the email issue.

It is interesting to note that when I went into the account settings in outlook to be sure the problem wasn't there, I was able to send the test message without issue, so it have to believe that all my pop server numbers are correct and the problem lies with the add in. Apple support blame Microsoft, who blames Apple. As with this entry, no almost a year old, I have never gotten any answers from this forum.

Should you have learned how to handle the issue, please let me know.
