How to fix issue in my Favorites Folder

Hi, To make a longstory short, my computer was recently hack and took it to Staples for a fullreset of it. NOTE: My current issue did not exist prior to having my systemreset.

Current Issue:::

**I have Windows 7

**I use InternetExplorer 11

1) On my upper taskbar, I click on the (Favorites) folder/tab to show all of my folders.

2) In this , for(example), I select a folder called: {Stores}

3) In this{Stores folder}, I have listed several websites of stores that I SAVED tothis (Favorites) tab

**In, again, (example)in this {Stores folder}, I want to delete a particular saved website, it stillremains!

**For some unknown,that I never had before, I'm unable to delete (ANY) saved websites form myFavorites folder/

Please help me outhere as to what is going on her. And please provide me steps to correct this

Have you tried to delete it from c\users\user\favorites?

I'm not real computer savvy. Can you please explain to me what this..... c\users\user\favorites is?
Plus, can you please provide to me the steps in doing what you wanted me to do? That would be great!
Finally, what do you think is causing this issue that I did not have before?
