Hi,

Installed Win 7 and partitioned 150mb for that install.
I have 350mb left which I can't see.
Just wondering how to track down this space, format it and use it?
Probably really obvious, but I've spent time maucking around in Setup and looking on the forum pages here to no avail.

Any help is much appreciated :)

Control panel/admistrative tools/computer management/disk management, where you will see a map of your drive.

Presumably it will show C as 150 gigs and about 350 gigs unallocated.

You should be able to right click in that unallocated space and format it.

If you disk management screen doesn't show C is 150 and unallocated is 350, post a picture of it.

Thanks very much.
That's all I needed.
Been a while since I've had to go through all of this stuff, and of course it's all a bit different with Win 7
Most of it I stumble through, but this forum had been awesome.
Little things like removing shortcut arrows, disabling taskbar thumbnail previews, even things like single click mouse and finding how to get to folder options.
So far I'm liking Windows 7 a lot.
Still hate the thumbnail taskbar previews and the start menu could be (alot) more customisable, but overall I'm really happy :)

Thanks again for the reply.
