How to get the Regedit?

Hi All,

When I am trying to go to Regedit from the start icon, I get the regedit and it disappear after a second.
How can I go there?

Hello Bigbingo,

Your UAC is most likely blocking it. To give it permission to launch: You need to click on the shield which will appear on the Taskbar.

To change the UAC settings

Or once you have typed it in the search box, just click on it when it appears in the window above.

Actually what happened is that I plugged Kingston USB flash memory to my computer and than all folders
in the computer got an extension scr, and I can't get rid of it. Al I wanted ir to transfer photos to my computer.
How can I cancel that program both in the computer and in my stick memory?

It sounds like you have a massive malware infection.
Boot to SafeMode with networking.

download and install Malwarebytes Anti-malware (free version) from http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free/ - UNtick 'Enable free trial of MBAM PRO' at the end of the installation - and update it, then run a full scan in your main account, and Quick scans in any other user accounts.

Delete everything it finds

Unfortunately it did not help. I believe that the program that came with tme memory stick by purchasing it,
cause the whole problem. now I cant even get into some folders!

WHAT program that came with the stick?

The Malwarebytes fond nothing in order to solve the problem.
I wrote Kingston company for help

Try running System Restore to a point before the problem began. If it won't run from Windows then boot into the WIn7 DVD or System Repair Disk to run it as shown in that option in tutorial.

If System Restore isn't running or doesn't go back far enough, it's too late for this but I would still set more disk space for it in System Protection - Change Disk Space Usage

You can also try restoring Default File Type Associations - Restore - Windows 7 Forums
