How to give a user another user's old Windows profile?

I have a manager who is quitting and another manager is taking his place and they asked for him to have the same profile. I know I can copy/paste his folders into the new profile but is there a way to simply "Rename" the profile to the new user's username and have them login to that exact profile?

If I understood well, the computer is the same and you want to have the same old user profile to the new user.
- You can just open Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\User Accounts and rename the account.
- You can create a new account, move all settings with the Windows Easy Transfer (%windir%\system32\migwiz\migwiz.exe) and then move all files with Explorer.

You should be able to change the username seen on the Start Screen and the password used from the first few steps in this MS Post but leave the folder structure unchanged

The full post will allow you to change the actual Folder structure but This may cause some issues with non MS applications ( some have folder names and paths hard coded in non standard locations), so I would normally suggest following the previous option if this is a requirement - ie, The need is not for just a username change

Experience has taught me the hard way that the less that is changed in the user Profile the more stable the result is
