How To Have All Icons IN a Folder in Alphabetic Order

I want to have all the icons in a folder in alphabetic order. Windows put the first twenty or so in alphabetic order. But then with the remaining forty or so icons it starts the alphabet sorting all over again. So I have A-Z sorted and then it starts A-Z sorting again. Any new icon I add gets put into the first alphabetic set. This is very annoying as I want to keep the positions of the first set of icons as they were as I'm familiar with their positions and can easily find them. I tried prefixing the new icons with "Z" so they would come at the end but each new icon I add still gets put at the end of the first set (twenty) which shifts everything else over, instead of at the end of all the icons.

View is set to: medium icons, sort by name.

Yes, windows explorer. Where is there a name button on top? If you're referring to View -> Sort by -> Name that's been selected al along.
