I have a usb network adapter and the driver files are on a flash drive. On XP, I just selected search in this location and selected the driver folder. I cant figure out how to do that in 7. I have the flash drive plugged in and the adapter too but when it searches it can't find the driver folders and i can't find a way to direct it to them.

You could copy the driver off of a flash drive and into a folder on your HDD, and then direct windows to search for the driver in that folder on your HDD.
